GoldCel is widely used in constructions like the followings:

-Tille Adhesive

Tile adhesive is used for tiling inside and outside of all kinds of structures such as houses, buildings and swimming pools, especially on walls, floors, ceilings, etc. To improve productivity of tiling works, tile adhesive should have longer open time allowing more tiles to be attached after being applied to the substrate. And to fix tiles firmly, tile adhesive should have high tensile strength.

Cement Based Tile Adhesive

Tile adhesive is a cement-based system that attaches ceramic tiles to various substrates in a thin-bed method. A cement based tile adhesive is a powder mixed with additional water. GoldCel improves adhesives strength, open time, slip resistance and workability. Mortar formulations vary depending on local building culture and different raw materials used.

Economical Tile Cement

Economical tile cement has a lower cement content than normal tile cement. The high water retaining feature of GoldCel provides strong adhesive strength.

Normal Tile Cement (C1)

Normal tile cement (C1) is a cementitious tile adhesive specified in EN12004. The adhesive strength of this tile cement after being dryed should be higher than 0.5 N/mm2, and in general, the dosage of GoldCel should be about 0.3 to 0.4% in drymix mortar for the adhesive strength to reach this level.

High Performance Tile Cement (C2)

High Performance Tile Cement (C2) is a special cementitious adhesive with additional properties specified in EN12004. The adhesive strength of this tile cement must be at least 1.0 N/mm2, and the dosage of GoldCel is generally 0.4 to 0.6%., which is currently the highest level used in tile cement.

Tile Grout

Tile grout is a joint material that fills gaps between tiles after tile placement jobs on walls or floors. Because a tile grout should fill gaps 2 to 9 mm thin, it is made of fine powder (10 to 100 μm). GoldCel improves workability and plays an important role in preventing cracking and separation of raw materials in mortar.

Ready To Use Tile Adhesive

Ready-to-use tile adhesive uses a polymer dispersion as a binder and is a mixture of aggregates, fillers, defoamers, wetting agents, film forming agents and so on. This ready-to-use product can be used directly on the job site. Therefore, it is very convenient to control the quality of construction work. GoldCel helps to improve workability, slip resistance, pot life and water retention, and increases correction time.

-Plaster

Gypsum based plaster is normally referred to as pre-mixed dry mortar which mainly contains gypsum as a binder. It is mixed with water at a job-site and is used for rendering surfaces on various interior walls made with such as brick, concrete, ALC blocks and etc. There are three main application methods: gypsum finishing plaster(GFP), gypsum hand plaster(GHP) and gypsum machine plaster(GMP). GoldCel is an essential additive for optimal performance in each application of gypsum plaster. 

Gypsum Hand Plaster

Gypsum hand plaster (GHP) is used to render the interior of a building. GoldCel provides good workability while securing strong adhesion between the plaster and the wall.

Gypsum Mechanical Plaster

Gypsum Mechanical Plaster (GMP) is used when working on large walls. GMP helps users save time and money when it is used with a mechanical mortar sprayer. GMP is popular primarily in Western Europe. In recent years, lightweight gypsum mechanical plaster has become increasingly popular because of its easy-to-use feature and thermal insulation effect. As such, GoldCel provides versatile applications with unique properties such as pumpability, workability, sagging resistance, water retention, etc.

Gypsum Finishing Plaster

Gypsum finishing plaster, or Gypsum thin layer plaster, is well used for leveling and smoothing surface of walls. The layer thickness is generally 2 to 5 mm. When applied, GoldCel plays a vital role in improving workability, and water retention.

Gypsum Joint Filler

Gypsum Joint Filler is a dry mixed mortar that is used to fill the joints. Gypsum joint filler consists of hemihydrate gypsum as a binder, various fillers and additives. When applied, GoldCel provides easy workability, and high water retention.

-Render

Cement based Render is applied either manually (hand plaster) or by spray machine to exterior walls such as block walls, concrete wall, ALC block walls and so on. GoldCel helps to control water demand and to improve workability and the anti-sagging property. GoldCel reduces shrinkage or expansion of Cement based Render during setting as it provides high water retention. Without GoldCel, excessive shrinkage or expansion may create cracks in the render.

-Skimcoat

Skimcoat is a very fine material to be applied to any interior or exterior surface. The primary role of GoldCel is to provide ease of work for manual coating. In addition, GoldCel improves water retention, sag resistance, and crack resistance. 

-Masonry Mortar

Masonry mortar is composed of binders like cement or lime and other types of aggregates. It is used for brick or block laying. Masonry mortar is increasingly popular for its ease in handling. After hardening, it requires good adhesive and compressive strength for its application, where GoldCel plays a vital role. GoldCel Cellulose Ether also enhances pot life and provides water retention as well as good workability.

-ETICS/EIFS

Countries around the world set energy saving goals and promote construction materials with a high efficiency insulation feature. ETICS/EIFS is one of the major building insulation systems. It significantly saves energy and provides superior interior climate controllability and comfort by lowering heating and air conditioning costs.

-Self Leveling

GoldCel and CelPure are used as a stabilizer in self leveling compounds. GoldCel and CelPure also prevent bleeding or material-separation and crack formation.

-Cement Extrusion

The cement-based extrusion is one of highly-sophisticated methods of producing base panels, spacers, bricks and so on. Base panels, typically for cement-based extrusion, are used for both interior and exterior and for sound insulation. Mixture for cement extrusion is made up of cement, aggregates, fibers and water. It has become more important to use cement extrusion panel to replace asbestos, which was banned by law.

-Latex Based System

Latex-based system is a ready-to-use architectural material for the finishing process of interior and exterior of houses and buildings. It is also able to repair or cover defects such as cracks. GoldCel and CelPure improve workability and water retention for Joint compounds, Joint fillers, and putties. 

Joint Compound

Joint compound is a ready-to-use paste which is mainly used in wallboard construction, filling up joints between the boards. As additives to joint compounds, GoldCel and CelPure provide good performance in terms of tape adhesion, workability prevention of shrinkage, and crack formation. GoldCel and CelPure are to be selectively recommended for light-weight, heavy-weight, all-purpose, and setting-type compounds.

Joint Filler

Latex-based joint filler is a ready-to-use mortar that is used to fill joints. When used for this purpose, GoldCel and CelPure provide enhanced workability, and high water retention etc.

Putty

Latex-based Putty is a finishing product for surface smoothing. For this use, sanding ability, adhesive strength and good workability are required. GoldCel and CelPure provide high water retention and are easy to handle while preventing crack formation and bubble marks.
