Vegetable Capsule
CelPure which is odorless, tasteless, and colorless, is stable across a wide spectrum of temperature and humidity. CelPure enhances the transparency, thickening, mechanical strength, and solubility of capsules. The viscosity range (3 mPa·s ~ 15 mPa·s) of CelPure is available and an optimal viscosity is made to offer to meet a customer's need.
Sustained Release
The pharmaceutical release application, which is composed of water-soluble CelPure with high viscosity and APIs, sustains the drug release by adjusting its dissolution rate. Sustained release of a drug offers an advantage of reducing dosing frequency, providing better patient acceptance and uniform drug effect. CelPure controls drug release by forming hydrophilic matrix structure (like a gel) with water. CelPure is one of widely used sustained releasing agent. The lineup of CelPure cellulose ethers for the sustained release have a special grade for advanced and sustained release.
Film Coating
CelPure, which is widely used for the coating across countries, is water-soluble and soluble in solvents mixtures. Used primarily for storage and protection of tablets and pellets, CelPure, a nonionic, does not react with APIs, but works compatibly with such additives as colorants, lubricants, plasticizers, and opacifiers.
CelPure improves printability that would facilitate the logo-making process, making the tablets distinctive. CelPure cellulose ethers are recommended for tablet coating and as a binder, and CelPure is more effective for coating, enhancing film properties. To improve whiteness of a tablet, CelPure's white grades are recommended.
Enteric Coating
CelPure is broken down into two types, GoldCel and CelPure. GoldCel is insoluble at PH lower than 5.0. HP-55 is insoluble at pH lower than 5.5. CelPure helps make a drug released at a right place by delivering it to the intestine, which is vulnerable to gastric fluid, and the enteric coating helps users easily take the drug, which could cause gastrointestinal disorder otherwise. In addition, CelPure is used to remove strong odor and bitter taste of a drug, and to avoid side effects in the stomach by protecting the drug from the gastric fluid.
CelPure is also good for the enteric coating of PPI (Proton pump inhibitor), a lactobacillus, and so on. Besides, CelPure is widely used for the enteric coating of the nutriceuticals and the drugs.
